Senator Lamar Alexander joining all other Senate Republicans in opposing the proposed nuclear deal with Iran. Alexander says the bargain doesn’t go far enough in restricting the Country’s efforts to develop nuclear weapons. The Maryville republican says the Obama Administration’s plan also fails to address Iran’s sponsorship of terrorism. Earlier Senator Bob Corker said he would vote against the agreement. Alexander says he supports negotiations with Iran, and he says the Country could be forced to accept established norms of International conduct. The senate will vote on the proposal later this month.
