Board of Mayor and Alderman Meeting Set for City Hall Tonight


Manchester Alderman are set to consider bids for paving and water system projects during a City Hall session set for tonight. The Agenda includes review of application for a Federal Grant to defray half the cost installation of a water booster station for the Insterstate-24 and Manchester Industrial Parks off Highway 41 South. The effort expected to cost an estimated $175,000 that would then be split by the Coffee County Government and the Manchester City Government at $82,500. Aldermen will vote on a second reading of an ordinance awarding the Rogers Group a contract for street paving work next year. The group also expected to approve acceptance of debit and credit card payments for taxes, licenses and fees. The meeting set to begin at 6:30PM.
