Tennessee Politicians have a limited number of tickets available for folks who want to see Pope Francis make a Congressional address September 24th. Senator Lamar Alexander will hand out 200 Capitol Ground passes on a 1st come 1st served basis. Senator Bob Corker has 200 tickets as well. An aide says Corker has yet to distribute the tickets. 6th District Rep. Diane Black and Nashville Congressman Jim Cooper are giving 50 tickets each to the Nashville Catholic Diocese. 4th District Rep. Scott a Desjarlais says he has 50 tickets to distribute. About 40,000 are expected to attend the event, watching The Pope address a joint session of Congress on jumbo-trons set up on the West Lawn.
