Tullahoma Woman Facing Charges after Death in Bus Crash

A Tullahoma woman is facing multiple charges following a fatal school bus crash. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 5 year old student at Franklin County’s Northlake Elementary School died after the Honda Sedan he was a passenger in pulled into the path of a school bus Thursday morning. The victim was airlifted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville where he died. Three others in the car also injured in the crash. The THP says April Rexroade, age 29, of Tullahoma, allegedly ran a stop sign at the intersection of a Walt Road and State Route 130, causing the fatal crash. The injured car passengers were not property restrained. School bus passengers suffered minor injuries.
