Tennessee Titans rookie wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham has started to emerge as a dangerous target in the passing game, but he continues to be held back by off-field issues after getting arrested for an unpaid speeding ticket.
According to Jason Wolf of the Tennessean, DGB was pulled over last week in Van Buren, Missouri, for driving 65 mph in a 55 mph zone. The officer found that he had neglected to pay a previous speeding ticket, which prompted him to arrest the former University of Missouri star.
Green-Beckham was released shortly thereafter when he paid off the outstanding ticket for a sum of $92.48, per Wolf.
This is far from Green-Beckham’s first run-in with the law, as he was twice arrested on marijuana charges during his time in college. He was subsequently dismissed from Missouri following the second offense.
Despite having first-round talent, DGB fell to the second round of the 2015 NFL draft, which is where the Titans selected the 22-year-old wideout.
Although he has just three catches for 35 yards through three games, he has hauled in a pair of touchdowns from quarterback Marcus Mariota.
