A pilot and passenger who died in a small place crash in East Tennessee have been identified. According to the associated press, the pilot, William Gibbons, JR., and his daughter died after their plane crashed into Buffalo Mountain near Johnson City Friday Night. The pair were headed from Knoxville to their home in Bloomington, Indiana. Gibbons was an engineer for Cook Medical. His daughter was a high school Sophomore. Federal officials say it will take 6 months to determine the cause of the crash.
