Emergency Management Center Activated in Anticipation of Storms

Metro’s Office of Emergency Management will partially activate the Emergency Operations Center Monday as a storm system moves across Middle Tennessee.

The EOC will activate at 10 a.m. in anticipation of the forecasted storms that could bring damaging winds and the potential for tornadic activity.

With this weekend’s rainfall already causing ground saturation and minor flooding, rain gauges in area streams and rivers will be monitored closely.
