7 Year Old Dies in New Year’s Eve Crash

A 7-year-old twin boy died Thursday and his family was seriously injured in a three-car crash in Winchester, Tennessee.

Police said it happened at 11:30 a.m. on Highway 41.

The van was propelled it into on-coming traffic and hit a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

One of the 7-year-old boys inside the van died at the scene. His twin brother and father suffered serious injuries and were flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Two elderly women, ages 87 and 82, inside the Kia also suffered serious injuries. No one inside the pickup truck was injured.

None of the victims have been identified at this time and there is no word on any charges.
