MTSU Sexual Discrimination Case Verbal Only

An allegation of sexual discrimination in Middle Tennessee State University’s Athletic Department was verbal only. The Daily News Journal reports a University spokesman says the verbal complaint was made to a campus official sometime last fall. The MTSU office of Institutional Equity and Compliance is investigating the allegation. Sexual discrimination is prohibited under the federal law that funds education at the university. It’s not known if the charge was made by a student athletic team member, or an employee of the athletic department.
