Gasoline prices continue to trickle down across Southern Middle Tennessee and it seems the downward trend will continue through the winter. A Gasbuddy survey pegged gas for as low as $1.56 per gallon for regular at two Manchester locations Sunday. Fuel going for $1.57 per gallon at stores in Tullahoma, Decherd and Shelbyville over the weekend. Murfreesboro drivers enjoyed the lowest prices of $1.48 while Warren County motorists paid the area’s highest price of $1.62. A week ago Tennessee’s average price was $1.72 per gallon, a month ago it stood at $1.80. The year ago price was $1.91. Crude Oil Futures closed at around $30 per barrel in Friday trading, a 12 year low for the price of oil.
