Alexander Joins Anti-Trump Move

Tennessee Senior Senator Lamar Alexander has endorsed the Marco Rubio Republican Presidential Primary campaign, saying  the Florida Senator has the conservative credentials to win the White House for the G-O-P  come November. Last week Republican Gov. Bill Haslam and former Senator Bill Frist also endorsed the Rubio Candidacy. Alexander served as Governor before heading University of Tennessee. He also sought nomination for President in 1996 and 2000. Both Alexander and  Haslam are expected to join Rubio on Primary-Eve Campaign swing through Knoxville today. Some Republican leaders expressing growing concerns that nomination of the New York billionaire Donald Trump as the G-O-P standard barer could prove disastrous for the party this fall.
