Nissan is recalling more than 47,000 Leaf electric cars over possible brake problems. The Japanese automaker says extremely cold temperatures could cause a relay in the car’s brake system to fail. Causing loss of performance that might result in an accident. Dealers will re-program computer software to overcome the problem. The recall includes Leaf models made in 2013-2015 model years. The Leaf is made at Nissan’s Smyrna assembly plant.
