Driving & License Issues Up for Review

State lawmakers will review legislation affecting driving habits and license requirements this week. The Senate Transportation Committee will consider a bill prohibiting driving in the left lane of Interstates and multi-lane roads except while passing. The house has approved the bill. Another bill would require folks turning 21 to get a new driver’s license within a month of their birthday. Some lawmakers also pushing plans to offer the so called “Gadsden Flag” as a vanity license plate. The flag, favored by Tea Party Members, features a coiled rattlesnake with the words “Don’t tread on me”.
