A longtime coach in a Lincoln County, Tennessee basketball league has been indicted on 29 different sex abuse charges, according to authorities there.
Clyde Billy Dollar, 57, faces two counts of rape, 12 counts of sexual battery by an authority figure, 10 counts of sexual battery, four counts of aggravated statutory rape and one count of statutory rape by an authority figure. He is being held in the Lincoln County jail in lieu of $500,000.
The investigation into Dollar’s actions began in early February when allegation surfaced about Dollar, who the Elk Valley Times reports coached in the North Lincoln Basketball League played at Boonshill School. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department began an investigation, during which several boys reported being sexually abused by Dollar.
The grand jury indicted Dollar on Tuesday.
