Job Rates Continue to Improve in March

New jobs continued to open up in Southern Middle Tennessee in March with 4 Counties posting an unemployment rate of under 4%. Coffee County’s rate dropped from 4.2% in February to 4% last month. 970 without jobs there. Franklin County’s rate dropped by .03% to 3.9% in March. 760 folks looking for work in the County. Bedford County unemployment fell to 4.1% in March. State Officials says 820 need work there. Warren County’s rate fell from 4.3% to an even 4% last month. Grundy County unemployment dropped to 5.6%. Moore, Rutherford and Lincoln Counties all enjoyed a jobless rate ranging around 3.5% in March. The Department of Labor and Workforce Development says rates dropped in 92 o the State’s 95 Counties last month.
