Gas Prices Slip

Gasoline prices across southern middle Tennessee are sliding down by a few cents per gallon in the past week. A Gas Buddy Survey shows the price of a gallon of regular fuel ranging around the $2.12 mark on Wednesday. That’s down by around a dime compared to average pump prices last week. Some Rutherford County outlets are offering regular fuel for $1.99 or less. Retail gas prices started to creep up from recent record low prices in May as the price of crude oil jumped to near the $50 per barrel mark. Crude oil prices have slipped by half point to $48 a barrel in Wednesday Trading.
